Paper Egg is an imprint of featherproof books, founded in 2005 by Zach Dodson and Jonathan Messinger, in the great city of Chicago, at the suggestion of Governor Rod Blagojevich, patron of the arts.
Jonathan serves as Paper Egg’s editor-in-chief, and Zach as its creative director. Its designer and illustrator is Paul Hornschemeier. Paul’s a highly acclaimed and award-winning cartoonist and graphic novelist, who also resides in Chicago.
